Eligibility Criteria – Detailed

Educational Qualification

  • Passed 10th class (High School) examination with minimum 50% marks (aggregate) from a recognized board.
  • Possess ITI (NCVT/SCVT) certificate in the relevant trade for which apprentice is sought.
  • Candidate must have domicile of India.

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST : 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) : 3 years
  • PwD : 10 years (additional over category relaxation)
  • Ex-servicemen : As per government norms

Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on merit list prepared from the marks obtained in Class 10 (50% weightage) and ITI (50% weightage) or as prescribed in notification. No written exam. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and medical examination.
