Educational Qualification
- Degree Holders: BE/B.Tech in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Diploma Holders: 3-year Diploma in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized board with 2 years of relevant experience (where applicable).
Age Relaxation (as on closing date)
- SC/ST : 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) : 3 years
- PwD : 10 years (additional over category relaxation)
- Ex-servicemen : As per government norms
Selection Process
Selection for SSC Junior Engineer will be based on:
- Tier I (Computer Based Test) – Objective type, 200 marks.
- Tier II (Written Exam) – Conventional/Objective type, 300 marks.
- Document Verification of shortlisted candidates.
- Medical Examination as per SSC standards.
Final merit list will be prepared based on aggregate marks of Tier I and Tier II (normalized).
How to Fill SSC Junior Engineer 2025 Online Form – Step by Step Guide
Photo Instruction
The candidate will have to take a LIVE PHOTO for which a webcam will be required. There should be background light in the live photo and both the eyes of the candidate should be open and the photo should be absolutely straight.
