Educational Qualification

• Degree Holders: BE/B.Tech in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Diploma Holders: 3-year Diploma in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized board with 2 years of relevant experience (where applicable).

Age Relaxation (as on closing date)

• SC/ST : 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) : 3 years
• PwD : 10 years (additional over category relaxation)
• Ex-servicemen : As per government norms

Selection Process

Selection for SSC Junior Engineer will be based on:

• Tier I (Computer Based Test) – Objective type, 200 marks.
• Tier II (Written Exam) – Conventional/Objective type, 300 marks.
• Document Verification of shortlisted candidates.
• Medical Examination as per SSC standards.

Final merit list will be prepared based on aggregate marks of Tier I and Tier II (normalized).
