Eligibility Criteria – Detailed
Educational Qualification
- Post Graduate / Graduate / Diploma / ITI qualifications as specified in the table above.
- For technical posts (Radiographer, Optometrist, etc.) relevant subject in 10+2 is mandatory.
- For Stenographer & Reporter, prescribed shorthand/typing speeds are required.
Age Relaxation (as on 28/03/2026)
- SC/ST : 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) : 3 years
- PH (PwD) : 10 years (additional over category relaxation)

Selection Procedure
Selection for DSSSB Various Posts will be based on:
- Tier-1 (Objective Type) – Common written exam for all candidates.
- Tier-2 (Descriptive/Skill Test) – For specific posts like Stenographer, Reporter, etc. (typing/shorthand test).
